The knowledge of sex is divided into three categories below. The HOW of sex, the WHEN of sex and the WHY of sex. A basic science book on human anatomy can tell us how sex works from a biological perspective. But when it comes to sex, we cannot divorce the WHEN of sex and the WHY of sex from the HOW of sex. Sex by definition is not just a biological act, but it is an act with moral implications.
Many of the articles below I have moved from Biblicalgenderroles.com where I originally published them. And most of them are geared toward people in their late teens or adult men and women.
My goal, Lord willing, is to add many new articles that are geared for younger teens and even preteens just discovering sex. But I will say that it has greatly surprised me over my years writing for Biblicalgenderroles.com, just how many adults, some even in their 40s or 50s, who have written me who did not know some biological aspects of sex.
But I believe the greatest area of sexual ignorance in our culture, both within the church and outside the church, is knowledge of the WHY of sex. It is only through full knowledge of the WHY of sex that a man and woman can reach the full sexual potential that God intended them to reach. And the knowledge of the WHY of sex, in addition to the WHEN of sex, can only be found in one place and that is the Bible.
